As your know that in the coming few weeks, there will be many upcoming events. So, hope to see all of your around in club oh!

Like we have just discussed, the Overseas trip would be to Genting..YEAH!! woohoo,this would be GAIA's first overseas trip..think it would be fun!

Details are as follows:

Date: 21st-23rd Dec 2009

Lets assume that there are 15 of us going and each room is going to take in 3 pax.

1)Five star Tour Agency

Room: $128 X 10ppl =$1280
Transport: $90 X 5ppl =$450
Extended night for rooms: $85 X 5rooms =$425
Total: $2155

ie..it will be $144 for one person. (staying in first world hotel-deluxe room)

2)For Grassland

It will be the same but with an additional themepark tickets.
The tickets would be a one day pass( will double confirm again) and it is $16 per pax.
Therefore it would meant $159.70 per pax for the trip.

Hmm..i think that should be all for the information.=D Now maybe could your leave a note in the tagboard whether would you be able to make it. Hehe like that maybe we can make the booking.But at the same time, if your have any better promotions or your prefer any other hotels, feel free to tag too!

Hi people, this time no more hey :D

Er, G.A.I.A outing seems to be un-holdable on the 31st of Oct because there will be Halloween Event, the nearest date where everyone is free and no event will clash, will be on the 14th of Nov, which is still quite far away.

Probably by then, we shall have our Picnics. We can still have dinner together during events ;) no worries.

Anyway, for the Welfare Halloween event, G.A.I.A will be preparing, Fried Rice, French Fries and Nuggets! Reporting time will be 8:30pm at clubhouse, there will events and movie screening! Those who haven pay $3 to Jamie, please do so ASAP? We will be gathering at Lionel's place on the 30th of Oct, he will not be going to school, so any time will be fine i suppose. So, Good luck, Have fun! Er, and remember to help lionel clean up his place after that. hehe :>!

Ok, and one more thing we discussed today, as you all know there will be alot of upcoming events, So i hope every GAIA will come down during every event to help out or to enjoy Yippie! :> See Ya!

Outing right, most probably we will be settling for a picnic due to the OVERWHELMING response.

As for the other suggestions, we will carry out those outings at a later time. We will have different events :)

As for now what we can decide on is let the PICNIC outing be on the 31st of October, which is a Saturday and approximately 2 weeks away. SO please make arrangement so that you all will be free on that day alright xD.
Time and Date will be confirmed again when the time is getting closer, meanwhile, rest well and yeah BE PREPARED for the reopening of school! :D

Hello GAIA,

we are now officially certified guaranteed pure breed MIUs!!
The past 4 days has been tiring, but glad to know that everyone put in their best efforts for the camp.
Kudos to our dear CMI, Chicky, for his contributions and being a good 头 (translate to hokkien)! :D

The camp is now over, hope everyone has a good rest, esp those working/itp-ing!

Details for our overall debrief are out and as follows:

Date: 13 Oct 2009 (Tuesday)
Time: 6pm (instead of initial 4pm)
Venue: T1854

On a side note, a big thank you to those who made the time and effort to go to Vincent's place yesterday to pass his parents the collage.

We offer his family our condolences and hope that they will be able to move on soon.

Interaction camp 09 is over! CLAPCLAPCLAP

Well done to all MIUS! You all did a fantastic job.



Not forgetting the PCs and Cooks though. Good job to everyone :)

Many interesting things happen throughout the whole process of this camp.
I hope that all these happy things, or even sad things can be part of memories to everyone of us ;)

Some ban sha, some jian cao, some carry pails, some push the wheel barrow, some clean the canvas, some hammer pegs, some hammer bamboo poles, some fill holes with sand, some tied water bags, some played with water host, some helped with being station masters, some complain, some eat non stop, some sleep non stop, some went missing, some got sunburn-ed, some suffer injuries, some suffer cuts, some eat little, some helped the pcs to put on make up, some help them to style their hair, some make a joke out of themself, some sang wrongly, some sang till they have got no more voice, some cried while leading the juniors, some got angry and happy on the other hand.

Many different things happened at the same time. I hope everyone of us will work together even better in future. Many more opportunities :D hiakhiak.

Although it's been some time since we've worked together, hopefully over the next few days we can build back our strong bonds and strengthen our friendship!

Hope everyone enjoyed their 中秋节 celebrations!

Anyway, just to inform all Year 2s...

This Sunday, 11 Oct will be (or would have been) Vincent's 19th Birthday.
The photo montage should be ready by Wednesday, will be put in club (to be confirmed) and then when we break camp on Sunday, we'll take the montage down to Vincent's place and give it to his parents.
This is just a token of appreciation of his particaption in CADC and the wonderful memories he had given us.
His parents have already been informed of this during the funeral last Sunday.

Of course, this is not a compulsory event, just hope that everyone will be able to make it as he was, afterall, one of us.
This is the least we can do for him, since he had always contributed as much as he could during various CADC events in the past.

If any of you are not going for I/C Camp, you can still meet us at Toa Payoh MRT.
Time will be confirmed again after we break camp bah.


Those who would like to take a look at the montage, please tell Carlyn.
She will send it to you over MSN, or can go club tmr and see.

To Fellow Club Mates, School Mates or friends of Vincent,

Vincent's funeral will be starting from today, 01/10/09, and will be going on until Saturday, 03/10/09. So those who wishes to pay him the last respect, feel free to ask. The address of the funeral will be "Mount Vernon Parlours 2, 121 Upper Aljunied Road, Singapore 367878. Those who are visiting him today, 01/10/09, please come in the late afternoon or at night. Vincent's sent off would be on Sunday, 04/10/09, instead of Saturday, 03/10/09. Please wear Black or White top, a pair of jeans and a pair of covered shoe. Thanks.

This coming friday which is tomorrow, 02/10/09, CADC will be going down together as a group. Please meet at SERANGOON Mrt at 8pm. Do update Jamie whether are u able to go or not. For the Bai Jin if any one of you intend to give any. Please pass it to Edmund and together as G.A.I.A. We will give the envelope of money as the Bai Jin. For Vincent's upcoming birthday which is on the 11/10/09, we will be making a montage filled with pictures of him and some of us in club. If you have any pictures which u think is really memorable, Please send it to Oscar, Gan Joo or Carlyn asap because we need time to get the montage printed. Been a long time since the last update,
hope this time, the blog can stay active! ;)

Our dear friend, Vincent, had left us on the 25th Sep 2009, 23:31.
Its a very sudden news for everyone of us.
No one would have expected him to pass away at this young age of 18 going 19.

Vincent was a nice guy who neither complain, nor grumble over things he had to do.
Life is short, treasure it before its too late.

Vince, no matter where you are. G.A.I.A will miss you. Take care.
